They created a pilot film called Bosko the Talk-Ink Kid , which was one of the first cartoons to feature synchronized speech

After producing one Looney Tune a month for a year, a second series of cartoons called "Merrie Melodies" was created

The Merrie Melodies soon became a series of one-shot cartoons, with no common thread linking them except for the focus on music
